I have been doing a bit too much shopping lately and one of the items that I purchased recently is a gold and silver bracelet. It was a real steal, purchased it for 129 SEK from MQ. Personally I love mixing gold and silver, I know some people just can't do it but I love it. I thought the bracelet would be perfect for a night out or if I was going out for dinner to just add that extra touch to an outfit. Today's post is going to be a short one as I am quite busy today but I thought I would pop in quickly and give you guy's a little update here on the blog. I hope you enjoyed reading this post and if you would like to see more posts like this one in the future drop a comment below. xoxo

Today has been such a rainy day here in Sweden, it definitely feels like it is fall today. In a weird way I am actually looking forward to fall and going back to Scotland (where I study). I just feel like the fall time can be so cozy I love going to my local Starbucks and just having their pumpkin spice latte and doing some work on my laptop it is so relaxing. But enough about that I thought I would show you three of my favorite beauty products right now. The first item is a nail polish from Dior - Grége number 413. It is a nude shade and I have been purchasing this specific shade from Dior since I can remember it really is the perfect shade of nude you can literally wear it with anything. But the best of all is the quality. Although it is on the more expensive side, it can be purchased for £19 at Boots and Dior et al it really lasts for quite some time and it doesn't chip easily, which is really good because I hate when you purchase a nail polish and it literally chips a day later. I mean how annoying is that? I also wanted to show you guys this incredible lipstick also from Dior that I purchased a few months back in May. It is the Dior Rouge Satin Lipstick in the Hasard shade (Number 263) and it is sort of a nude tone with some soft pink undertones to mimic the natural color of lips. The best part of this lipstick is that it doesn't dry your lips out and it keeps them moist and the color lasts you quite long so you don't have to reapply it constantly. It can be purchased online for £27.50 which is quite expensive for a lipstick but it is definitely worth the money and you won't regret it. Another favorite of mine this month is the CHANEL Lévres Scintillantes Glossimer lipgloss (Number 144). It is in a pink shade with a sparkly touch to it. It really makes your lips shine and it is perfect for a night out when you want to add that extra touch to your lips and make them look extra kissable hehe. This has become one of my favorite lip glosses of all time and I use it all the time. It can be purchased for £26. L.C. Last summer I decided after much consideration to splurge on a pair of Dior So Real sunglasses in a black and silver color. I felt like I was seeing the one's in silver everywhere so I opted for another color just to be a bit different. Dior sunglasses do not come cheap and I purchased my sunglasses for £290 from Harvey Nichols in July 2016. The price I paid for my sunglasses was just before Dior did a price increase on the So Real range. You can currently find the same sunglasses as mine at both Harvey Nichols and the Dior website for £310. Although the sunglasses came with a hefty price I can honestly say that they are by far the best sunglasses that I have ever had and even though I have literally been wearing them every day for just over a year now I have not got bored of them yet. The actual glass on the sunglasses is really dark so when it is really sunny outside they protect your eyes really well especially when you are driving during the summer. L.C. Yesterday I went by one of my local pharmacies to see what kind of skincare products they had in-store and I found this facial scrub from LCC also known as Löwengrip Care and Color. It is a beauty brand owned by famous Swedish blogger and entrepreneur Isabella Löwengrip. I had heard some mixed reviews about her products so I decided to purchase one of her products once and for all to decide for myself whether her products truly are any good. I purchased the Purify My Skin - Face and Décolletage Scrub 75ml. It is described on their website as a gentle, rehydrating scrub suitable for the face and chest. It is described as the perfect combination of varying sized granules of silicon and cellulose that helps treat all areas of the face and leaves the skin feeling smooth and soft. (Information gathered from LCC's website) Now, applied the scrub as I would with any other, I had previously been using the facial scrub from Mary Kay, and I found that the granules inside the scrub were very rough and felt like sand granules a bit. I found myself feeling like the scrub was scratching my face more than scrubbing it. I don't think I would use that scrub that often as it doesn't really leave your face feeling smooth and hydrated like the one from Mary Kay. But I would recommend the LCC scrub for your neck and maybe hands think it would be perfect for that. Price wise it's a bit pricy on their website it can be purchased for €16 or 149 SEK. I hope you found this review helpful and interesting to their and if you would like to see more posts like this one drop a comment below. xoxo
L.C. I am one of those persons that just has it extremely difficult to find new books to read that I actually like so whenever I find a book series that I like I can just keep on reading it over and over again. Haha. I know most people probably won't do that guess I am a bit weird in that respect. However, one book series that I absolutely love is the Harry Potter series (as the title may give away hehe). A few months ago Bloomsbury published the first book - Harry Potter and the Philosopher Stone in four different versions namely in the different house colors Gryffindor, Ravenclaw, Hufflepuff and Slytherin to celebrate 20 years since the release of the first book. After much consideration I decided to purchase the Gryffindor edition as I have always been a fan of Gryffindor house. The book is in English and it comes with loads of additional content like background history on the house ghost nearly headless Nick and the founder Godric Gryffindor. Such an exciting read for a Harry Potter fan like myself. I can truly recommend anyone that enjoys Harry Potter to purchase this book. The book is available for purchase on Amazon UK for £7.99 currently which is actually a quite decent price. Hope you enjoyed reading this post if you would like to see more posts like this one where I review books please leave a comment below.
xoxo L.C. As I have mentioned before I am due to start my fourth year at University in September. I thought I would make a post about what it is like to study for a law degree and whether it is truly worth it. First off let me say it is not an easy ride and it can for sure be exhausting and challenging at times but like all other degrees I believe that if you put the effort in the outcome will be satisfying. I started university in 2013 and I actually started a degree in Law and Management which basically means that we studied 6 modules per semester and 3 of them were law related and the other 3 were management related. I think this kind of degree is perfect if you are unsure what you want to do in the future as it kind of gives you the best of both worlds. Now, I completed my BA degree in Law and Management in 2016 and that same year I transferred into the LLB program. My university offered Law and Management students to transfer after completing their third year into the LLB as we have by them done most of the subjects that the LLB had done. So, if you choose to transfer you would only have to do one extra year and you would also be able to get an LLB Honors degree. So I thought that sounded perfect so in the fall of 2016 I started my LLB degree and I am currently predicted to graduate with a first class honors degree in Law. Studying for a law degree is very challenging at times. I can't even count the number of times I have stayed up all night writing my coursework's and studying for exams and cried because I felt so over-worked. But I do firmly believe that it will all be worth it in the end. The one thing that sometimes makes me question whether it is all worth it is the fact that it is incredibly difficult and competitive to get a traineeship. So, that would be one thing that I would caution people thinking to go into law is to think about that fact but then with every job there will be competition for jobs. Hope you found this post informative and interesting and if you would like to see more posts like this one drop a comment below. Xoxo
L.C. Going sort of along the lines of my last post I thought I would do a post about my favourite movies because right know I am writing my research proposal for my dissertation so I don't have too much time for blogging. Hope you like this post :) 1. While you were sleeping Now this is a real oldie it is from 1995 and it stars Sandra Bullock as the lead Lucy Eleanor Moderatz and Peter Gallagher as Peter Callaghan. It is a true romantic comedy or romcom and its perfect to watch in the fall or Christmas time. But truth be told I can watch it anytime. 2. Father of the Bride (Part I and II) This also one of my absolute favourite movies and it is really such a classic. By now maybe you have already figured out that I am a true sucker for 80s and 90s movies especially romcom movies. I just find them so much better than today's films just because I feel like they have this special charm to them and father of the bride is one of those movies. Steve Martin plays the lead and he does so brilliantly. 3.Overboard This is a Goldie Hawn movie from the 80s if I am not mistaken and it truly is such one of the funniest films I have ever seen. It is about this rich woman who falls of her yacht and wakes up in hospital without her memory and Kurt Russels character takes her in and they end up falling in love with each other. So good and a must see for anyone that enjoys a good comedy. 4.Pretty Woman Now what would this post be if I didn't include Pretty Woman? haha I cant even count the number of times that I have seen this film a true classic. Richard Gere and Julia Roberts were just fantastic in their roles. 5.Dirty Dancing Finally we have Dirty Dancing. I love it to put it simply it definitely is in my top five romcom movies! Hope you liked this post if you want to see more of these in the future drop a comment below :)
Xoxo L.C. So, whenever I am at uni I love just winding down in the evenings and relaxing by watching some of my favourite tv-shows. There are always a few tv-shows that I always turn to and kind of rotate watching hehe as they are my all time favourites to watch! 1.Grey's Anatomy. The first show that is a must to see is Grey's Anatomy. Sometimes I think to myself maybe I should have become a doctor/ surgeon because I just love this show haha. Think season 14 is meant to start this Sep and that is just crazy! I have literally been following this show since its first season and it just keeps getting better. Though I have to admit the first few season are always going to be my favourites just because it was the beginning. 2. Gilmore Girls. The next show that I also always rewatch just because it is so good is Gilmore Girls. Now this one I only started watching some years ago but is such a good show, think I will never stop watching it. It is really funny and the characters are so well thought out I think everyone should see it at least once. 3. One Tree Hill. As you may have noticed by now allot of the shows that I watch are oldies and are not quite "new" haha and so the next show on my list is One Tree Hill. I don't know why but I somehow always seem to watch it in the fall or during winter. But so good another must see for anyone who hasn't seen it. Drop a comment below if you would like to see more posts like this one in the future!! :)
Xoxo L.C. Thought I make a post on some of my sale favourites on Net-A-Porter. Right now they are doing a clearance sale which means they are giving an extra 20% on the sale price for allot of items so be sure to check it out. They have some really great designer items. (disclaimer: all pictures in this post belong to Net- A-Porter and not me). Going to start off this must have post with this gorgeous grosgrain-trimmed guipure lace mini dress from Self-Potrait. The dress is perfect for occasions like weddings or holidays. Maybe for that little trip to Saint Tropez or the Amalfi Coast ;) The next item is also from Self-Portrait. It is a guipure lace mini dress and it is cut from the signature lace guipure used by Self-Portrait in an elegant black, white and baby pink nightshade pattern. It is simply stunning, paired with a pair of simple black heels the dress would leave any girl looking absolutely breathless. Stepping away from the romantic lace dress world of Self-Portrait I thought I show you guys this absolutely stunning and sexy Halston Heritage dress. It is a satin midi dress from the Halston Heritage's Spring SS 17 Collection which was inspired by the legendary ballet dancer Martha Graham. This gorgeous satin dress is made from lustrous satin and it is detailed with two slits and a wide sash belt. It is a perfect dress for a cocktail party ;) The last item that I want to show you guys are these amazing Jimmy Choo sandals. They are the Kelly laser-cut ruffled trimmed leather sandals (the sandals were inspired by flamenco dancers). The sandals are made in Italy from black glossed leather and the heel is a 120 mm/ 5inch heel. It would like stunning with all three dresses above. Hope you guys enjoyed and liked this post as much as I enjoyed writing it and be sure to come back to see what I have lined up.
Xoxo L.C. So sorry guys for not being active here on lé blog for some time now. But truth be told I haven't had to much inspiration and been stressing a bit about starting my dissertation, writing mine on tax law hehe, (not sure if I am a bit insane for doing that). If you have any dissertation tips drop them below in the comment section would love to hear them. But I am back now and got some good content on the way so stay tuned.
